R2D2′s commentary: Interesting statistics and bold predictions. I would add the “STILL” to the title. As I keep preaching, Microsoft’s lack of vision and radical changes in both consumer and corporate OS (Windows 8 and Windows 2012) is about to create the perfect opportunity for Linux to replace the decades-old monopoly.

How could you increase the share of an OS that straddles the server space like a colossus? The answer is quite simple: my assumptions had made an ass of me.
